The Montessori Giving Tree is more than just a childcare. Our school’s mission is to develop independent and engaged learners who are academically, socially and emotionally prepared to succeed and responsibly meet the challenges of today’s world with confidence, compassion and grace.
Our environment cultivates individual curiosity, creativity and strength while engendering a love, respect and understanding of self and community. The Montessori Giving Tree applies the educational philosophy and methods of Maria Montessori, M.D., a renowned Italian physician and child educator.
The Montessori concept of education allows children to experience the joy of learning at an early age. Each child works and learns at his own pace, and according to his own capacities in a noncompetitive atmosphere. Children of varying ages work together in the same classroom, stimulating both academic and social growth.
The Montessori philosophy embraces the whole child and his natural curiosity and love of learning. Children will reach their full potential both academically and socially when given the freedom to actively work within a carefully prepared environment and open-ended curriculum with the guidance of specially trained Montessori teachers. Educational materials are utilized according to the readiness and needs of each child.
The main value of this educational method lies in the self-discipline, self-motivation, independence, and love of learning that the children achieve.

My child started with Ms. Tasha almost 2 years ago. She is developing very nicely. I appreciate Ms. Tasha and her staff spending time with my child daily. She comes home from school and tells me the activities she has completed or is currently working on. My child is learning so much cognitively, socially, and even physically. We cannot ask for much more.

We are grateful to Ms. Tasha for bringing something out of our child that other educators could not, and that's a true love for learning. We noticed immediately after being under her guidance, his interest and skills in math blossomed. At 4 years old, our son was adding and regrouping 4 digit numbers. He also learned how to read simple words. Coming from a play based school to a Montessori school he definitely grew in more ways than I can imagine. There is no amount of words that can describe the rich curriculum and care that Ms. Tasha brings to the classroom. She is a very warm person and excellent teacher. She also has excellent staff members on board. The kids are not only exposed to strong academics, but also good manners too. I am a true fan of Ms. Tasha and the Montessori method. I truly feel that because of her, our son is engaged in learning and excited about school!

Ms. Tasha is an excellent educator. I was privileged to have her as a teacher for my daughter and a tutor for my son. She is very knowledgeable of the Montessori curriculum and passionate about educating children. I highly recommend her as a teacher and am confident that Montessori Giving Tree is a great school.
